The Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport is located approximately 22 miles from Maumelle.
I-30 is accessible traveling I-40 East from Maumelle for approximately 15 miles.
I-40 is located at the city limits of Maumelle and is accessible from Arkansas Highway 100, which runs through the city.
I-430 is accessible traveling Arkansas Highway 100 southeast for approximately 5 miles.
I-440 is accessible traveling I-40 East approximately 19 miles to I-440.
I-530 is reached by traveling east on I-40 to I-30, merging onto I-530; total distance is approximately 16 miles.
I-630 is accessible by traveling southeast on Highway 100 for approximately 5 miles and then I-430 south approximately 5 miles to I-630.
Arkansas Highway 100 is also referred to as Maumelle Blvd. It runs through the heart of the city, with Interstate 40 on the north end and I-430 on the south end of the boulevard. Arkansas Highway 100 runs through Maumelle, North Little Rock, and a small portion of Pulaski County.
The Maumelle Industrial Park has an active rail spur serviced by Union Pacific Railroad.
The Little Rock Port Authority is located approximately 24 miles from Maumelle. The Port of Little Rock is home to Foreign Trade Zone 14, located on a 25 acre tract with a 104,000 square foot general purpose building. Material handling and administrative services are available. It offers waterway, rail and easy access to a national airport.

Maumelle has two 18-hole golf courses. Maumelle Country Club. This private course offers beautiful terrain and natural surroundings for year-round entertainment. It offers the perfect mix of leisure and competitive golf.
Maumelle has another golf course that is a semi-private golf course. Unique to the area, the Country Club of Arkansas combines the exclusive feel of a private club with the accessibility and value of a daily fee course.
Maumelle has several parks and almost 30 miles of walking trails. From its wonderful fishing to the scenic bicycle and walking paths, Lake Willastein is the perfect place for the family to play, exercise, and relax! There are picnic tables, BBQ pits, playgrounds, fishing docks, wooden bridges, and plenty of beautiful open space perfect for setting up the volleyball net, tossing a Frisbee or just to lay back and enjoy!
Lake Valencia lies in the center of the City of Maumelle next to the Maumelle Public Library. It features a splash pad, fountain, tennis courts, gazebo, fishing docks, and a boardwalk around the lake. Lake Valencia is the perfect place for bank fishing, or fishing off the dock, walking or jogging around the boardwalk, and simply enjoying the beautiful scenery. The lake is stocked in the winter with rainbow trout through the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission and, every other year, with catfish for Maumelle's annual fishing derby that alternates between Lake Valencia and Lake Willastein.
Maumelle celebrates July 4th each year with a parade, a live band, and an incredible fireworks display.
The Children's Protection Center holds the River Cities Dragon Boat Race each summer at Lake Willastein.
The River Park Civitan Club sponsors an annual Christmas parade, and the Maumelle Lions Club holds a pancake breakfast with Santa.
The City of Maumelle works directly with volunteer organizations to offer participants a variety of youth recreational sport leagues in a safe, fun and well supervised environment - softball, football and cheer, soccer, swimming, basketball, baseball, and US Taekwondo. There are also sports for adults, and multiple fitness classes are offered at the Jess Odom Community Center, including an indoor walking path and cardio/fitness gym.

The Maumelle Industrial Park is light manufacturing and distribution only. Resources, such as water, power, natural gas, rail, and telecommunication services are plentiful and provide competitive rates to businesses and industries like Kimberly Clark Corporation, who began making Huggies Baby Wipes in Maumelle in 1990 in a 48,000 square feet facility. Today Kimberly Clark operates a 359,000 square feet mill, producing all the Huggies Baby Wipes for North America from the Maumelle facility. They are currently adding another 60,000 square feet to their existing facility. Molex, Inc. is another well-known company operating successfully in Maumelle since 1984. A well-trained and dedicated workforce in Arkansas helps Molex stay competitive in the fast pace, ever-changing technology world.
